What is a HOVERBOARD® weight Limit?

March 25, 2019

What is a HOVERBOARD® weight Limit?

So, some questions that have popped up is surely everybody is not suitable to ride or use a Hoverboard, and how much can the HOVERBOARD® withstand? Can someone possibly exceed the weight limit on a Hoverboard? There is a range of questions which surround this topic.

Before we reveal the answer to this, there are some factors you need to consider for both a person and a Hoverboard.  So, HOVERBOARD® products come in Different shapes and sizes. The Drifter HOVERBOARD® can clearly handle more weight then a standard FLY Hoverboard. So, your standard FLY, Vanguard HOVERBOARD® are looking to withstand around 220Lbs, any more pressure although they have been known to hold more can potentially damage, this is a recommend weight limit for the smaller 6.5 Inch Products. Now the Drifter and Monster which are 10 Inch wheeled products and are heavy and weigh more can withstand more pressure, which just nearly doubles the smaller ones and can withstand up to 420Lbs. Which accommodates most people, but again like the smaller HOVERBOARD® products has been known to hold more, but recommended weight for larger HOVERBOARD® products is 420Lbs.

Hoverboards are durable and well-built products and have been known to withstand weight that does exceed the recommended limits and not many cases of people breaking HOVERBOARD® from shear weight have been heard of but it is wise to follow the recommended weight limits.
