Why does a HOVERBOARD® have Bluetooth and how does it work?

April 4, 2019

Why does a HOVERBOARD® have Bluetooth and how does it work?

Most HOVERBOARD® products of ours do come with Bluetooth functionality. HOVERBOARD® products with Bluetooth have the ability to play music and sounds from your smartphone device. The Bluetooth receiver is connected to speakers which are built within the HOVERBOARD® product.

Unlike most devices which require an activation for the Bluetooth within the product after being initially activated or turned on you do not need to switch the Bluetooth on manually with our HOVERBOARD® products, as soon as you power up the HOVERBOARD® for use the board will automatically become discoverable to near by devices which from your smartphone you can then connect to the product.

Connecting a smartphone to the HOVERBOARD® is easy! Simply turn on your Bluetooth on your smartphone either in the settings or on iPhone can be found in the bottom navigation menu, wait a few moments for it to activate and the HOVERBOARD® product and simply just click pair once found, and your phone and the board will do the rest. Also, we hope this goes without saying but the HOVERBOARD® needs to be on for this to work. This should work with any smart phone regardless of the model or even if you are an IOS user or an Android user.

So, once the phone is connected to the Hoverboard, how do you actually play music? Same way you would play your music through head phones or a desktop speaker. Go onto your smartphone and open an app of your choice, they are many streaming apps for music which can be found on the app stores on your smartphone, some paid for such as Apple music and Spotify and some free such as Soundcloud and even YouTube. Then select the perfect HOVERBOARD® riding song and away you go with a crisp and clear sound following you around as you wiz around on your HOVERBOARD® product.

Happy Hoverboarding!
